Everybody wants to be happy, but not everyone is currently truly happy. There is no one in this world wants to feel sad, bewilder with their own feeling. Sometimes we find that pursuing happiness is a difficult thing to do. However, we also need to know that happiness is a choice. Here is a list of different hacks i usually do whenever i need a boost of positive emotion.
1. Figure out what makes you truly happy
Find something that catch your attention and can clear your mind off from the negatives. If you are confuse on what things that can make you happy, try to do any kind of activities or hobbies. For example, go for a run. If this can make you feel happy, then stick to this activity. Stick to the activity that can make you stay focus on yourself and can free your mind from your all your personal problems.
2. Give yourself a fresh start
Sometimes a break from your routine is a very thing you need. Get yourself a fresh start and start live your life differently.
3. Be grateful
This is something to do with religion. No matter what religion you are in, do not forget to teach yourself to be grateful. Sometimes things that always make you feel unhappy is because you are not grateful enough with your life. You always think that your life will be easier or better if like this and that. You may try really hard to live like someone else's life. You have to bear in mind that you can not have everything in this world . Just be grateful with your life now. There are many people have tougher life than you.
4. Reduce your exposure to negative media
Social media gives huge impact on our society today. We are living in modern world so we literally can't go a day without looking at the social media. People who leaves negative comment about us surely can make us feel unhappy. Some things are better to not take it seriously or don't looking at it at ll. You don't even need to worry about what may people say/think about you. So reduce your exposure to social media and you will find peacefulness.
5. Do not think too much
Let's face this. Mostly people will spend their time thinking about their personal problems. Try to distract yourself by doing activities. Be a busy bee. It helps to loosen your mind.
6. Listen to happy songs
When you are into "the mood", don't ever listen to sad songs. Listen to happy songs instead. Happy songs can give you energy and helps to increase your mood. It is better to listen to pop songs that have a good beat. I'm sure you will start to dance afterwards.
This is a healthy way to stay healthy. It actually releases Endorphins. If you start exercise, your brain recognize this as a moment of stress. As your heart pressure increases, the brain thinks you are either fighting the enemy or fleeing from it. To protect yourself and brain from stress, you'll release a protein. This protein has a protective and also reparative element to your memory neurons and act as a reset switch. That is why we often feel ease and happy after exercise.
