What I Do When I'm in My Lousy Mood


It happens to the best of us. Bad days happen. Some days, your brain just decides it is going to be a bad day and bad day leads to bad mood. Even sometimes a small tiny thing can turn our world to upside down. It seems impossible to beat that lousy mood but actually there are some things that actually can cure my grumpiness.


1. Eat and Exercise
Just giving your body what it needs can make you feel better. Sometimes, what is really bothering you is not the issue, but your body needs to freshen up a little bit or maybe needs some food. For me, I love to eat. Eating on the sofa while watching TV is the simplest way to distract myself from thinking too much. I know it is not a good habit but hey, it works well on me. When I have the mood to exercise, I will do it. But surely most of the time I will not do that.

2. Get some air
Sometimes staying in the house makes you worse. So I go out and get some air. Your mind needs to loosen up and see something else. You need to see the world and that can eventually makes you more relax and focus on the outside.

3. Write
When I don't go out, I write. I write anything that come across my mind. I never listen to music while I write. It distracts me. By writing, I feel that I express my feelings already and at some point it makes me feel a whole lot better. Same as you express your feelings to someone. That is how it feels. But writing is better because they can't judge you.

4. Drink plain water
Being a little bit dehydrated can lead to fatigue, loss of focus and worse mood. When you drink, your brain gets more oxygen and can function better.

5. Crack a smile
I know it sounds cheesy but trust me, it is work. Put a gentle smile on your face and put in mind that you are going to be okay, everything is going to be okay, no need to worry. Breath deeply and count to 10. Wallah! You will feel super duper better.

  2. I'll spending hours in a shopping mall, wondering around and let myself invisible to others. Haha.

    But it work, at least for a couple of hours before my mom called force me to go home. :3

    1. I once tried that too and got scolded right after that because I didn't tell my parents to go out xD

      Yes, I agree with you. Sometimes we need our own space and a little privacy. But there is some consequences too when you are wandering around alone especially for girls like us. Apa apa pun kena jaga diri je even mood kita macam mana pun kan hehe :D

    1. I see. The only Korean show that I watch is Running Man but I don't watch on YouTube I usually record it on Astro xD

    1. I loved swimming! It was my hobby back then, when I was a kid. I used to swim a lot when I was in primary school but since dah pakai ni tudung macam dah malas hahaha. Kalau nak main air pun dekat waterpark je xD
